Crowns, bridges, and Veneers

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap that is placed over a damaged or decayed tooth to restore its shape, size, strength, and appearance. Dental crowns are commonly made of porcelain, ceramic, metal, or a combination of materials, and are designed to mimic the natural look of teeth. We always select the color of the crown with you from out shade guide so you know you will be happy with your result.  The crown is custom-made to fit over the existing tooth, and is attached to the tooth using dental cement or a dental bonding agent. Once in place, the crown stays in place permanently, covers the entire visible portion of the tooth above the gum line, and protects and restores your tooth. A veneer and a bridge are very similar to a crown except the veneer usually only covers the front half of the tooth like a facing, and the bridge is multiple crowns that are joined together, usually used when there is a missing tooth area.
